Migrating to 0.6.0¶

This is a clean breaking rename. Install bharat-judgements and replace imports with bharat_judgements. Replace CLI commands with bharat-judgements, the settings class with BharatJudgementsConfig, and environment variables with the BHARAT_JUDGEMENTS_ prefix. Old-name aliases are not shipped.

Existing installations of the former distribution can coexist until explicitly uninstalled. Remove them yourself after migrating your application. The release does not delete legacy caches, skills or installed packages. The new cache root is ~/.cache/bharat-judgements/; cached files are fetched again on demand.

TLS verification is now enabled. Configure an explicit portal exception only when necessary. Negative delays, nonpositive timeouts, invalid retry budgets, invalid pagination and unsupported filter combinations now fail instead of being accepted. Citation queries must select SCI, and forced live search cannot discard structured filters. Text plus a different party filter is rejected because archive text matching uses the party/title field.

Domain model names (Judgment, Judgments, court codes and portal form fields) remain unchanged. See Docker MCP for the new assistant interface.
